Even though both machines feature Megatron's famous cannon, the new game uses modern mechanisms and Stern's latest technology to create a very different overall experience.

The jump from the original SAM platform to Stern's latest Spike 3 system brings several obvious improvements.

A full-colour LCD display replaces the old dot-matrix display, allowing far richer animations inspired by the animated series.

The latest hardware also brings improved lighting effects, enhanced sound and support for modern features such as Insider Connected, making the machine feel noticeably more contemporary.
