The Big Lebowski Gets a New Jesus Edition

Dutch Pinball has just revealed a new version of The Big Lebowski Pinball, and this time the machine is all about one character:

Jesus Quintana.

The new The Big Lebowski: Jesus Edition is limited to just 300 individually numbered machines worldwide, with the first deliveries scheduled for September 2026.

The new edition completely changes the visual presentation of the machine. It gets new cabinet and backbox artwork, new playfield artwork and plastics, high-gloss cabinet decals, custom inner cabinet artwork and a new Jesus-themed bowling alley front.

And, naturally, there's plenty of purple.

The colour of Jesus's famous bowling outfit appears throughout the machine, including the legs and metalwork, while a new illuminated bottom apron adds another major visual change.

More Than Just New Artwork

Dutch Pinball has also made several hardware and software changes.

The Jesus Edition gets anti-reflective playfield glass, a new illuminated bowling alley launch button, updated inner cabinet artwork and a new custom bowling alley moulding.

The software is also being updated with new gameplay elements and voice callouts.

And there's one more surprise that Dutch Pinball isn't revealing yet.

We'll apparently have to wait until production gets closer to find out what that is.

The Big Lebowski Rug Is Included

There are a few particularly nice collector details.

Every Jesus Edition includes a numbered Certificate of Authenticity and the iconic Big Lebowski rug.

And the decision to produce exactly 300 machines isn't random.

In bowling, 300 is the perfect game.

For a machine dedicated to Jesus Quintana, that's about as appropriate as it gets.

What About the Original Big Lebowski?

The good news for existing Big Lebowski owners is that Dutch Pinball is also preparing a software update for the original machine.

According to the announcement, existing games will receive new callouts, bonus-display and attract-mode assets, along with integration of the Scorbit score and achievement tracking system.

So the Jesus Edition isn't simply a completely separate product.

It's also bringing some new life to the original machine.

And Yes, Our Mods Still Work

This is the interesting part for existing Big Lebowski owners.

The main WizPanels design is based around the bowling-rug artwork and the speaker-panel area, so the panel continues to make sense on the Jesus Edition.

Our The Big Lebowski WizPanels can therefore continue to be used to extend the artwork across that section of the cabinet.

And if you're looking at the rest of our existing options, the The Big Lebowski Pinball Mods collection includes our WizBlades, WizBats, WizDoors and WizPanels.

We may eventually create something specifically for the Jesus Edition.

But for now, we're happy that some of the original modifications already have a second life on the new machine.

The Dude Has a New Neighbour

The original Big Lebowski is already one of the more unusual modern pinball machines.

The bowling alley mechanism alone makes it completely different from most games.

Now Dutch Pinball has taken that machine and built an entire collector's edition around one of its most memorable characters.

Jesus Edition.

300 machines.

Purple everywhere.

A giant rug.

A new bowling alley front.

And one mysterious surprise still to be revealed.

First deliveries are scheduled for September 2026, so it won't be long before we get to see exactly how this one looks in person.
