Best The Wizard of Oz Pinball Mods

The Wizard of Oz was the machine that announced Jersey Jack Pinball to the world.

As the company's first production pinball machine, it made a huge impression with its enormous playfield, incredible number of toys, spectacular lighting and sheer amount of stuff happening everywhere. It felt like a return to the ambitious, feature-packed pinball machines of the 1990s — but with modern technology.

And with so much going on already, the right mods can make an already spectacular machine look even better.

Make the Cabinet Feel Even Bigger

The inside walls of the cabinet are surprisingly empty compared with everything happening on the playfield.

That's where WizBlades make such a dramatic difference.

Adding artwork to those large side areas changes the visual depth of the game. The playfield suddenly feels wider and more immersive, while the artwork seems to continue beyond the actual playfield.

It is one of those modifications that can completely change how the machine looks when you're standing in front of it.

The speaker panel is another huge opportunity.
