Multimorphic has officially announced Dungeon Crawler Carl as the newest game for its innovative P3 Pinball Platform, bringing one of the fastest-growing fantasy franchises into the world of pinball.
Based on Matt Dinniman's hugely successful LitRPG novels, Dungeon Crawler Carl combines dungeon exploration, monsters, humour and nonstop action—making it a theme that feels perfectly suited for pinball.
From the first images released, this already looks like one of the most ambitious P3 modules yet.
What Makes the P3 Platform Different?
Unlike traditional pinball machines, Multimorphic's P3 Platform is modular.
Owners can swap the upper playfield module, artwork, software and game package while keeping the same base machine. Instead of buying an entirely new cabinet, players can simply install another game.
It's one of the most innovative ideas the pinball industry has seen in years and has allowed Multimorphic to build a growing library of unique titles with very different gameplay styles.
Because every module is designed specifically for the P3 system, designers have far more freedom than on a traditional pinball machine, often combining physical toys with interactive screen-based gameplay.

Dungeon Crawler Carl Feels Like a Perfect Match
If you've read the books—or even just seen the artwork—you'll understand why fans are excited.
Dungeon Crawler Carl is full of dungeon exploration, monsters, bosses, treasure, strange characters and constant progression, all wrapped inside a bizarre intergalactic game show.
That sense of adventure seems like an ideal fit for the P3 platform.
Based on the first promotional images, the game appears packed with toys, detailed artwork and an adventure-focused layout that promises plenty of variety. While we'll need to wait for full gameplay footage, first impressions are extremely positive.
A Growing Platform Worth Watching
The P3 platform continues to prove that pinball doesn't have to follow the traditional formula.
Rather than releasing a completely new cabinet every time, Multimorphic continues expanding the ecosystem with fresh themes and innovative gameplay.
Dungeon Crawler Carl feels like another important step in that journey and could introduce many new players to both the P3 platform and the hugely popular book series.
With the franchise continuing to grow through books, tabletop games and a television adaptation, the timing couldn't be better.
Wizard Mod Supports the P3 Platform
At Wizard Mod, we're already creating premium artwork for several Multimorphic games.
If you own a P3 machine, you can already personalise it with our custom Weird Al WizDoors and Weird Al LE WizDoors, designed specifically for both versions of Weird Al's Museum of Natural Hilarity.
We also offer premium Portal WizDoors and Heist! WizDoors, giving even more P3 owners the opportunity to personalise their machines with artwork that complements the original designs.

Dungeon Crawler Carl Mods Are Coming
With Dungeon Crawler Carl now officially joining the P3 platform, it's already on our roadmap.
We'll be creating premium WizDoors designed specifically for this exciting new release, continuing our commitment to supporting Multimorphic's growing catalogue.
Judging by the first artwork and the adventurous theme, this has all the ingredients to become one of the standout P3 releases yet—and we can't wait to start designing for it.
Stay tuned.
