Best Monopoly Pinball Mods

Monopoly is one of those themes that feels almost tailor-made for pinball.
Designed by Pat Lawlor, the game is instantly recognisable, the artwork is colourful and familiar, and the whole machine has that larger-than-life board-game personality. It also helps that this is a brand-new release, so there is something particularly satisfying about customising it right from the beginning.
Here are some of our favourite ways to take the look even further.

Give the Cabinet More Depth
The inside of the cabinet is one of the easiest places for a pinball machine to lose visual impact.
That's where WizBlades come in.
Adding artwork to those large side walls makes the playfield feel deeper and more complete, while bringing more of the Monopoly visual identity into the actual playing experience.
It's a relatively simple change, but one you notice every time you play.

Fill the Speaker Panel
The speaker panel is another area where a little artwork can make a surprisingly big difference.
Our WizPanels for Monopoly use a decal rather than the magnetic format found on some of our other machines. That makes them a straightforward way to replace a large, plain area with something much more connected to the theme.
And with a licence as recognisable as Monopoly, there is plenty of artwork to work with.

Add More Detail to the Front
The coin door sits right in the middle of the cabinet, so it naturally attracts attention.
WizDoors give that area another opportunity to carry the Monopoly artwork and make the front of the machine feel more finished.
It's one of those smaller changes that becomes much more noticeable once the larger areas have already been customised.

The Small Details Matter Too
Not every mod needs to transform the whole machine.
WizBats add another small piece of themed artwork to the flippers and give you an easy way to continue the visual identity into another area of the machine.
These smaller details are particularly fun on a new pinball because you can decide exactly how far you want to take the customisation.
Make Your Monopoly Yours
The best pinball mods don't replace the original machine.
They make it feel more personal.
With WizBlades adding depth, WizPanels transforming the speaker area, and WizDoors and WizBats filling in the smaller details, the machine can start to look much more like a complete custom design.
And because Monopoly is such a recognisable theme, it doesn't take much to make the visual effect feel dramatic.
This is also part of what makes new machines so exciting: you aren't just buying a finished object. You get to decide what your version will eventually look like.
